Claire received her juris doctor degree from Southern Methodist University's Dedman School of Law. Claire started her career as a civil litigator and earned distinction as a Texas Rising Star, named by Texas Monthly and Law and Politics magazine in 2005. After several years in civil practice, Claire joined the Collin County District Attorney's Office. To date, she has acted as lead counsel in close to 100 criminal jury trials and well over 100 trials to the court. As a Misdemeanor and Felony Prosecutor she successfully negotiated numerous plea bargain arrangements and has vast experience in criminal motion practice. As your lawyer for the defense, Claire brings her experience as a prosecutor and her "big firm" attention to detail to work for you. In addition to her awards and recognition for legal excellence, Claire is a published author and speaker on various legal topics.
